The Maxi skirt and dress have been around for a while, they were perfect for spring and I still love them in the summer time. Great for a picnic, lunch with friends or sailing trip. Soft and comfortable to throw on over a bikini, they are casually elegant.
www.asos.com does a great version if you are feeling the sheer trend, Fall 2011 catwalks have more sheer in store for us. This one from Asos also comes in different colours if you are one to refuse to wear black in the summer.I'm absolutely loving the colour BLUSH right now, the three celebs below showcase the maxi to its full potential and mix it up on the red carpet with all shades of neutral, peach and pink.
